Neuroretinitis found in a 38 year-oldmale patient with IV drugs abuse history. Findings were bilateral. The lipid-rich component of the exudate is able to penetrate into the outer plexiform layer, creating what is clinically seen as a macular star pattern.

Optomap RGB of an 82-year-old man with Neovascular AMD with Active CNV and Dry AMD in the right eye. There is advanced atrophic changes without subfoveal involvement located temporally to the fovea. Patient is to continue follow up care with dilated exam, repeat OCT, and treatment of intravitreal injection of Vabysmo every 5 weeks at this time.

Scanning laser ophthalmoscopy reveals a well-circumscribed, yellowish-white choroidal osteoma overlying the macular region and extending into the inferior temporal vascular arcade. Retinal vessels course normally over the tumor surface, with no evidence of subretinal fluid or hemorrhage. The surrounding retina shows preserved architecture without secondary degenerative changes.

Bottom (A-mode): Standardized tracing shows a tall initial spike (100% reflectivity) at the tumor surface with rapid decay to acoustic silence, confirming sound absorption by calcified tissue. This pattern remains unchanged at variable gain settings.
