- Description
- An 11-year-old boy stared at a laser pointer and later noted a central scotoma from the left eye. Two weeks later, visual acuity measured 20/30 and macular exam was normal. However, OCT revealed disruption of the IS/OS line subfoveally. Note that this disrupted IS/OS line is rather broad, underlying nearly the entire foveal depression, with some more absolute disruption underlying the very center of the foveal pit.
