- Description
- This 60-year-old woman has had this outer layer hole in her retinoschisis for six years without much change in appearance. Note the prominent yellow line extending down from the lower end of the hole. This line identifies the outer layer and probably represents a small fold in this layer. The appearing of such a line and changes in it probably signal the beginning of a detachment of the outer layer in retinoschisis.
