- Description
- A rounded area of central hypoautofluorescence corresponds to a traumatic macular hole, from loss of RPE/photoreceptors. A curvilinear band of altered autofluorescence between the disc and the hole represents an associated choroidal rupture, concentric to the optic nerve — the classic contrecoup pattern of blunt trauma.
