- Description
- Case of macular BRVO in a 50-year-old female on medication for systemic hypertension for the past 2 months. Color fundus photo of her right eye shows multiple superficial flame shaped hemorrhages within the arcade, along the infero-temporal region. Macula also shows a central yellow spot, which is a nonspecific sign of abnormal foveolar architecture. This could be due to sub-foveal fluid causing foveal elevation or vitreo-foveal traction. OCT shows multiple intra-retinal cystic spaces with hyper-reflective dots along with sub-retinal fluid.
