- diabetic macular edema, vitreomacular traction (VMT)
- Description
- 59-year-old male patient. Had 0.1 BCVA at the right eye at time of first examination (TIME 0). On OCT and FFA we had seen macular edema with some vitreous adhesions. After 3 anti-VEGF injections the edema has subsided considerably (TIME 4 MONTHS) but there was still an elevation at the fovea due to the vitreomacular traction. BCVA did not change. The patient is sent for surgical removal of vitreomacular traction.
