- Fundus photograph of the right eye of a 26-year-old gentleman presenting with submacular abscess. A diagnosis of endogenous endophthalmitis was made and he was placed on oral levofloxacin. Vitreous tap was negative on microbiology exam; intravitreal vancomycin and ceftazidime were injected. There was initial response but appearance of several new choroidal granulomas in the midperiphery after 3 weeks. Antitubercular therapy was then initiated.
