VISUCAM 524(Carl Zeiss Meditec AG, Jena, Germany) - Description
- A patient presented after a motorcycle accident resulting in severe blunt trauma to the right eye. Color fundus photography demonstrates an extensive curvilinear choroidal rupture extending from the peripapillary region toward the superior temporal vascular arcade and superonasal macula. The rupture is characterized by marked disruption of the retinal pigment epithelium–Bruch membrane–choroid complex, with direct visualization of the underlying choroidal vasculature. A well-defined, round traumatic full-thickness macular hole is also present.
