Ellex Eye Cubed - Description
- 76 year-old male referred for evaluation of choroidal melanoma. Pt has long history of vision loss secondary to glaucoma. Referred after MRI of brain and orbits revealed an orbital mass involving the socket and emanating from the globe. Clinical exam shows a pigmented scleral nodule 4mm posterior to the limbus in the 10:00 meridian concerning for extraocular extension. Evisceration recommended, pt lives out of state and will follow up with referring ophthalmologist/oncologist.
