Optos ultra wide-field color fundus photography - Description
- A 70 year-old female underwent surgery for a small full-thickness macular hole in the right eye. She was treated with pars plana vitrectomy, transscleral cryotherapy, endolaser photocoagulation, fluid–air exchange, and intravitreal SF6 gas injection. On postoperative day 1, ultra-widefield imaging revealed a well-attached retina with approximately 90–100% SF6 gas fill. The 360-degree endolaser photocoagulation marks were seen arranged circumferentially, resembling a “garland,” giving an artistic appearance to the therapeutic laser pattern.
