Central Retinal Vein Occlusion - RG
Sep 29 2026 by César Adrián Gómez Valdivia, MD
Widefield color fundus photograph (Clarus, Zeiss) of the right eye showing diffuse four-quadrant retinal hemorrhages (dot, blot, and flame-shaped) radiating from the optic disc, along with venous tortuosity and dilation and mild disc hyperemia. Findings are consistent with an acute central retinal vein occlusion.

Central Retinal Vein Occlusion - FA
Sep 29 2026 by César Adrián Gómez Valdivia, MD
Widefield fluorescein angiogram (Clarus, Zeiss) of the right eye, mid-phase, showing diffuse blocked fluorescence corresponding to extensive intraretinal hemorrhages in all four quadrants, venous wall staining, and areas of peripheral capillary nonperfusion with associated leakage, predominantly in the inferotemporal periphery.

Imaging device: Clarus 700
