Choroidal Osteoma
May 4 2026 by César Adrián Gómez Valdivia, MD
50-degree color fundus photograph demonstrating a choroidal osteoma involving the macular region. The lesion appears as a well-demarcated, yellow-orange, slightly elevated choroidal mass with areas of variable pigmentation and overlying retinal pigment epithelial changes. A small associated retinal hemorrhage is present, without evident exudation. Findings are consistent with choroidal osteoma.

Choroidal Osteoma
May 4 2026 by César Adrián Gómez Valdivia, MD
B-scan ocular ultrasound demonstrating a highly reflective choroidal lesion consistent with choroidal osteoma. The lesion shows marked posterior acoustic shadowing, a characteristic finding related to the calcified nature of the tumor. The posterior contour appears well defined, supporting the diagnosis of choroidal osteoma.

Choroidal Osteoma
May 4 2026 by César Adrián Gómez Valdivia, MD
Macular OCT B-scan demonstrating a choroidal osteoma involving the macular region. The scan shows an elevated, hyperreflective choroidal lesion with associated retinal pigment epithelium and outer retinal layer disruption. Mild intraretinal and subretinal fluid are present, suggesting associated exudative activity. Findings are consistent with choroidal osteoma.
