This 71-year old woman had a history of severe proliferative diabetic retinopathy and underwent numerous sessions of pan retinal laser photocoagulation, right eye, in the remote past by another retina specialist. She also ultimately required enucleation for neovascular glaucoma, left eye, 25 years ago. Despite her 20/20 visual acuity, right eye, she has visual difficulties related to visual field constriction from widespread severe secondary atrophy.
