    Displacement of spontaneous submacular hemorrhage into the inferior periphery 24 hours after intravitreal injection of SF6 gas and prone positioning. No macular abnormality was found. Patient was on aspirin, which may have contributed to the volume of bleed.

    Left eye of a 60-year-old non-diabetic, non-hypertensive lady on aspirin with spontaneous submacular bleed. No macular abnormality was found after the hemorrhage cleared from the macula. The large hemorrhage was likely due to aspirin use. This was successfully displaced with intravitreal gas injection.
