    Description
    Phacoanaphylactic endophthalmitis ( x 16). This eye was punctured by a knitting needle 3 weeks before enucleation. The area of inflammation is limited and the eye might have been saved had the cataract been removed. (Scheie Eye Institute, No. 1294.)
