- Description
- Slit lamp photograph of a 59-year-old man with dense asteroid hyalosis in his right eye. Although this condition is often asymptomatic, the density of his asteroid hyalosis caused visual symptoms including floaters and blurriness. He elected to undergo a pars plana vitrectomy which resulted in symptom resolution and visual acuity of 20/20.
