Thirty three year old white male with an 18 year history of Type I Diabetes Mellitus. He was diagnosed as having PDR two years also with hypertension for one year. He had multiple laser treatments over a two year period. Inspite of this the proliferative disease progressed and he was referred to the Ohio State retina service.
