OCT of a 30-year-old male that was taken 3 months after exposure to a high-power handheld blue laser shows an FTMH with cystoid changes. Visual acuity was 20/70.

Sub-ILM and subhyaloid hemorrhages after a momentary exposure to a high-power handheld blue laser are shown. The hemorrhages spontaneously resolved after a period of observation, and vision was completely restored.

OCT obtained 1 month after pars plana vitrectomy, ILM peeling, and gas tamponade shows a closed macular hole with restored photoreceptor lines. Visual acuity improved to 20/30.
