This is an anterior segment photograph of a 9 year-old female with a history of remote trauma resulting in traumatic cataract and aniridia. After cataract surgery, she developed endophthalmitis. Note the fibrin in the anterior chamber with lens capsule abscess, and vitritis.

This is an anterior segment photograph of sterile endophthalmitis from suspected chalcosis in a pediatric patient. Note the retained metallic foreign body and small hypopyon. He also had mild iritis and vitritis on ultrasonography.
