Acute Syphilitic Posterior Placoid Chorioretinitis

A 48 year old male presented with Acute syphilitic posterior placoid chorioretinitis (ASPPC) a large, roundish, yellowish, placoid lesion occurring at level of the retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) at the macular/paramacular area. Further testing showed a reactive VDRL and a positive FTA-ABS.

Subfoveal Nodule in Coat´s Disease

Late-phase RetCam fluorescein angiography of a 3-year-old child with Coats disease reveals a striking landscape of retinal telangiectasia, aneurysmal vascular dilations, peripheral vascular remodeling, and extensive capillary leakage. A well-circumscribed subfoveal nodule demonstrates intense persistent hyperfluorescence from late staining.
