This 59 year-old black female was referred with marked decrease in vision in the right eye. She had massive sub-RPE and subretinal hemorrhage. This went on to massive vitreous hemorrhage.

The left eye of 59 year-old black women remained stable with 20/25 vision until she presented a 9-day history of a shadow in the left eye. She had a large sub- RPE and subretinal hemorrhage nasal to the disc. Fluorescein angiography did not identify a site of chooroidal neovascularization. No treatment was done.

A 59-year-old black woman with an extensive progression of the hemorrhage around the superior margin of the disc and extending toward the macula. A barrier of laser was applied on the foveal margin of the hemorrhage. The hemorrhage remained stable with vision of 20/20.
