  • Subfoveal Bleed From Extramacular CNVM

May 15 2014 by Mallika Goyal, MD

Left fundus of a 66-year-old lady shows an extramacular scar from wet AMD earlier treated with Avastin and laser with new bleed extending into the temporal half of subfoveal location following an anticoagulant injection and episode of vomiting. VA was 20/20 so gas injection was deferred to prevent migration of heme into the spared half of the subfoveal area.
