Subhyaloid Hemorrhage in Pancytopenia
Nov 24 2013 by Mallika Goyal, MD
Right eye fundus of a 17-year-old male with pancytopenia from chemotherapy shows a large subhyaloid hemorrhage and extensive retinal hemorrhages. This is not always innocuous and may resolve with RPE and photoreceptor atrophy specially if associated with subretinal heme.
