Color views of hte right macular region reveals evidence of old photocoagulation superior to the foveal zone with surrounding pigment. There are atrophic areas seen inferior to the macular region. There are a few intraretinal hemorrhages seen.
Fluorescein dye transit through the right eye reveals hyperfluorescence in the macular region and the area inferior to the macular region. In the late venous phase, there is hyperfluorescence directly in the macular region. It is difficult to determine whether this is subretinal neovascularization or whether this is a pigment epithelial window defect.
