Maurice F. Rabb » Central Areolar Choroidal Sclerosis And Stellate Dystrophy

Enclosed are the pictures of a family. The first generation, a male, has 20/500 vision and looks somewhat like central areolar choroidal sclerosis. As for the two daughters of the second generation, one has a typical butterfly or stellate type of dystrophy and the other has the more nondescript "dot and halo" (as I call it). The son has 20/25 vision and has even more subtle changes.

The daughter with the butterfly or stellate dystrophy has about 20/50 vision and the other daughter, with the lesser lesions, has about 20/20 vision.
