64 year old black female with following diagnoses:
1. Polymyalgia rheumatica
2. Coronary atherosclerotic heart disease
3. Lower extremity arteriosclerotic peripheral vascular disease
4. Systemic hypertension
5. Insulin dependent diabetes mellitus

January 18, 1980:
Visual acuity: 20/80 OD and 20/25 OS
Fundus findings reveal: OD --Multiple serosanguineous retinal pigment epithelial detachments and associated detachment of the retina in the posterior pole of the right eye.

OS --Few scattered punctate yellowish changes at level of the retinal pigment epithelium in the macular area.

Note: This patient was treated with Cytoxan and Prednisone because of her polymyalgia rheumatica. Prednisone treatment initiated in December, 1981, and Cytoxan in 1982.
