Thank you for your question. This was an incidental finding and the patient had no symptoms and no documented maculopathy so I decided to follow-up on an annual basis. However I explained to the mother and to the patient that in case some visual symptoms were noticed in the meantime he should be observed immediately through our emergency room department.
